How many of you have driven along Sir Francis Drake, and passed the
Marin Art & Garden Center a thousand times and never stopped by to visit? If you've not yet checked out this abundantly green outdoor haven, please do. Aside from offering gorgeous spots for picnics, strolls, or peaceful meditation, this center is a mecca for gardening education. From compost demonstrations, to classes on medicinal herb healing, native plant gardening, riparian restoration (that's the interface between land and a flowing surface water body - we had to look that up!) the MAGC has all the makings for a perfect weekend outing with visiting relatives, children or your favorite book. Also tucked back here are a sizeable playground and the
Ross Valley Players' Barn Theatre! Oh, did we mention the
